For this project with CELCIS (the Centre for Excellence for Children’s Care and Protection), we were asked to create a short film explaining a safeguarding process to young people. The film aimed to help young people understand what a Section 25 arrangement is (when Social Services step in to protect children and young people from harm). This required a thoughtful and audience-focused approach - balancing creativity with responsibility to ensure the content was both engaging and appropriate.

To guide the story, we developed Pete, a ‘big brother’ figure who’s been through it all himself. Through careful co-creation with the CELCIS team, the end result was a 3 minute animated film, plus shorter cutdown versions for social channels and supporting statics with key messaging.
